Currently, according to the 2011 report of the World Tourism Organization, Spain is the fourth country in the world in number of foreign tourists, with more than 53 million tourists annually by 2010, surpassed only by France, USA and China. Tourism, today, is one of the mainstays of the economy of Spain, representing approximately 10% of gross domestic product in the country. Spain is famous for its beautiful beaches and islands that attract tourists all year round. In rural areas rural tourism is being created, including an offer of leisure activities related to nature and the environment. Also important is the tourism of snow, meaning "ski tourism" in several mountains. Also, the cultural and historical tourism is also very developed in Spain, with medium-sized cities like Toledo or Segovia and smaller ones as Granada. Spanish cuisine is vast and varied, with typical dishes such as paella, Madrid stew, the stew, Iberico ham, shellfish or fish. Olive oil, of which Spain is the largest producer, is used in a variety of dishes, and is very popular in other countries.
